Where Suggest Me Something gets its data.
Every recommendation on Suggest Me Something is a real entry in a real public catalog. There's no large language model inventing titles. Here's the short tour.
Movies
TMDB is the source of posters, synopses, genres and the per-country watch providers. IMDb-style ratings are fetched separately from OMDb.
Songs
Tracks, artists and audio features come from Spotify. Your quiz answers translate into target valence, energy, tempo and a handful of seed genres, which we hand to Spotify's recommendations endpoint.
Books
Titles, authors and descriptions come from Google Books, with covers and read-online links from Open Library.
We don't store any of it. Each session re-queries the source so the picks stay current with the catalogs themselves.
