What it's about
Gone Tomorrow opens on a late-night subway train, where Reacher spots a passenger showing every sign of a suicide bomber. What happens next pulls him into a conspiracy that reaches into government and the military. Like every Reacher story, it stands on its own: new town, new case, same drifter with a talent for trouble.
New faces this season include Sydelle Noel, Agnez Mo, Anggun, Christopher Marquette and Kevin Corrigan, with Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas and Kathleen Robertson in recurring roles.
Do you need to watch the earlier seasons?
No. Each season adapts a different book: Killing Floor in Season 1 (2022), Bad Luck and Trouble in Season 2 (2023-2024) and Persuader in Season 3 (2025). The only thread that carries over is Reacher's old army investigators unit, especially Frances Neagley, who matters more now she has her own show.

Neagley, starring Maria Sten as Reacher's former army colleague Frances Neagley, premiered on Prime Video on September 16, 2026, the same day as the Season 4 finale.
Season 5 adapts Make Me (2015), Lee Child's 20th Reacher novel, and began filming on July 20, 2026, with Jay Baruchel, Kevin Durand, Amanda Ip and Ciara Bravo joining. There's no release date yet, but each season has arrived roughly a year after the last. See our Reacher Season 5 guide.
Our verdict
If you liked the first three seasons, this one delivers more of the same: a tight eight episodes, a clear mystery and plenty of Ritchson flattening people. The opening subway sequence is one of the most tense setups the show has had.
