What Make Me is about
Reacher gets off a train at a remote farming town called Mother's Rest, purely because he likes the name. He meets Michelle Chang, a former FBI agent turned private investigator whose colleague came to the town and vanished. The two start asking questions the locals don't want asked, and the search leads to something far bigger and nastier than a missing person. It's one of the darkest books in the series, which suits the show's tone.
The new cast
- Amanda Ip as Michelle Chang, Reacher's partner in the investigation.
- Jay Baruchel as Chief Buck Bauer.
- Kevin Durand as Nokes.
- Ciara Bravo as Eunice.
When will it come out?
Amazon hasn't said. For a sense of timing: Season 4 started filming in June 2025 and premiered in August 2026. Season 5 started in July 2026, so a release in the second half of 2027 is the realistic guess, not an announcement.
