Who the Traitors are is revealed to viewers in episode 1, so we won't spoil it here. If you haven't started, avoid searching cast members' names: the internet is not keeping secrets.

How the game works

A few players are secretly chosen as Traitors; everyone else is a Faithful. Each night the Traitors "murder" a Faithful, removing them from the game. Each day, the group completes missions to add money to the prize pot and earn shields that protect against murder, then gathers at the Round Table to vote someone out ("banishment"). If only Faithfuls remain at the end, they share the prize; if a single Traitor survives, the Traitors take it all. That's how Alan Carr won series 1 alone, for Neuroblastoma UK.

The format adapts party games like Mafia and Werewolf, and began as the Dutch show De Verraders in 2021. The celebrity version works because the cast are performers playing a performance game, and because the stakes are charity, not personal winnings.
