Düsseldorf, 1986. Dr. Kenzo Tenma ignores his hospital director's orders and operates on a shot boy instead of the mayor. Nine years later, he learns the boy, Johan Liebert, is behind a series of murders. Framed for the killings, Tenma goes on the run across Germany and the Czech Republic to stop him.
